Our Aspirations for our Students
We want our students to develop outstanding habits both in terms of their behaviour and their learning, in their desire to become involved in the community, to practice, to study, to be kind to others and to have the confidence to become involved in whatever they wish to and to have the confidence to try and to succeed.
We want all of our students to know the value of calm, of good habits, of self-regulation, self-awareness, self-reflection, of practice, of hard work, of kindness and of participation. We want all our students to enjoy and be skilled in reading widely and studying from texts and to know the value of competition and exposure to new experiences.
We want those of our students who have the capability to aim very high, to aspire to Oxford and Cambridge and to the best careers, to be prepared both culturally and academically for the competition such aspiration brings and to welcome it.
We want those of our students who might otherwise be susceptible to low expectations or a restricted view of their potential to see more widely and more clearly what is possible and to have the confidence, habits and ability to achieve it.
We want our students to feel part of their academy, of their community and of their future.
