Weekend Worries/Straight Talk Weekend.
As a parent myself I know how it can be when you work all week and only get to talk to your children properly at the weekend!
Then they tell you something that sparks your interest or worries you - just when the school is closed! Monday morning you’re back at work and communication with the academy is not as easy to fit in.
I also understand that sometimes parents and carers want to speak direct to The Principal. Believe me, a Principal wants to hear feed back and seldom gets it direct and unfiltered unless there is a big issue.
For this reason, in 2022, we launched ‘Straight Talk Weekends’ also known as 'Weekend Worries'; an opportunity for parents and carers, and anyone else, to raise an issue or ask a question directly to The Principal. The attached form directs messages direct to me. I will endeavour to get back as soon as I can.
The ‘Straight Talk Weekend’ or 'Weekend Worries' window opens every Friday and closes at 6pm every Monday.
During the week, of course, parents and carers can call 01375 802060. The access to info@harrisriverside.org.uk is always open. During the week you can also use Miss Day's Parent Liaison Form.
